Day 21 in The 21-day Affirmation Cleanse-accomplishment
Today’s Cleansing Affirmation:
I HAVE THE POWER TO ACHIEVE ANY GOAL I DESIRE. EVERYTHING IS WORKING OUT FOR ME NOW.
You did it! Hooray! Congratulations! I’m so proud of you! What an accomplishment!!
You see? You can do anything that you put your mind on to achieve! It feels good to finish what you started and to set a goal and accomplish it, doesn’t it? Now hopefully, by partaking and completing this 21-day Affirmation Cleanse, it has given you the momentum to set new goals in you life.
I love the quote, “It’s a dream…until you write it down…then it’s a goal.” -anonymous
My husband asked me the other day what I have gotten out of doing this 21-day Affirmation cleanse. I told him it has helped in 4 areas:
1) Choosing another thought. (I am better, quicker and it is easier for me to choose another thought as soon as a negative or fearful thought enters my mind). I have to say, this has been my most exciting improvement.
2) Setting a goal and accomplishing it: doing this 21-day Affirmation Cleanse.
3)My own personal goal while doing this 21-day Affirmation cleanse was to become more flexible and more of a “yes” person. I truly feel like I have had less resistance in this area…therefore it’s been a lot easier for me to go with the flow and say “yes” more often.
4) Because the cleanse has given me different areas to work on each day, it has allowed me to really listen to my spirit about the more challenging areas that need “cleaning” or “work.” Thus, giving me a few new things to improve on in my life. I’m looking forward to how I will feel after I’ve done all the ‘dirty work.’
I do have to say, when I thought about creating this cleanse for you all, it was actually a big goal I was setting myself up to accomplish. Could I really blog for 21-days straight about something decent that people would want to do and learn more about? I admit, I had a few doubts as soon as I sent out my first blog post announcing The 21-day Affirmation Cleanse. I quickly chose another thought (and practiced what I preach), to: “I am creative. I can do anything I set my mind out to do. I am strong.” Truly, that was my go-to affirmation when I felt my ego (my doubtful thoughts) swarming in to try and take over.
I share this with you, so that hopefully you too, will not allow your ego to get in the way of your dream, your purpose, your next goal you set for yourself. You are not your ego. You are a beautiful spirit who deserves positive affirming thoughts to replace any other useless garbage.
I also knew I had to set goals and an action plan to do this for 21-days. My action plan consisted of how many hours a day and a week I would need to commit to my blog. Were these realistic? I did have to change and re-write my action plan twice…to make it more do-able. Without my action plan, I do not believe I would have been able to easily accomplish this goal.
My husband is a huge Tony Robbins fan. I would like to leave you with a quote from Tony Robbins about setting goals,
“Goals are a means to an end, not the ultimate purpose of our lives. They are simply a tool to concentrate our focus and move us in a direction. The only reason we really pursue goals is to cause ourselves to expand and grow. Achieving goals by themselves will never make us happy in the long term; it’s who you become, as you overcome the obstacles necessary to achieve your goals, that can give you the deepest and most long-lasting sense of fulfillment.”
Your homework?? Dream big.
Childrens affirmation for today: It is easy for me to set a goal and achieve it.
